Hazy golden with a little white head. fresh herbal notes, little spicy as sweet malty. Quite sweet and boring, with again some herbal and fruity notes toward a very little bitter end.

Good fruity aroma with restrained spiciness. Coriander appears stronger in the mouth, though. A bit watery. A good enough wit. Maria (6303), Thisted, Denmark

Unclear hazy medium yellow color with a large, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, light to moderate hoppy, citrus, moderate yeasty, soap. Flavor is moderate sweet, light acidic and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 13, 2008 Bottle, 2008 Pre-GBBF Chris_o Shindig. Ridiculously lively pour. Much more off-white foam than beer. The beer that eventually does settle out of the foam is pale straw. Salty ocean aroma, fresh cut grass. Soft wheaty bitterness, chalky mineral flavor and a little pepper. A refreshing, solid beer. (Also interesting is that at this point in my notes, an unfamiliar hand has scrawled: "Shane Mc Bogan. I <heart> Bogans." Who could it be?) MartinT (5068), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 11, 2008 My Bottom Line:
Citrusy, floral hoppiness joins pale cereals and minutious fruit esters in this quenching and crafty session Saison.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sumptuous head of foam tops the cloudy blond.
-After having a few on tap and in the bottle, I get the impression that Del Borgo beers are more cohesive on draught.
-Carbonation is relaxed; at this strength, this makes the beer ridiculously drinkable.
-The finishing hop bitterness is herbal and wooden as well.
-The body is very well rounded for this gravity.
On tap at Bir&Fud, Roma.
