Chocolate - milk, dark, Body Medium to full, Color light brown, Malty Caramel. fantastic

Lovely, thick notes of sweet licorice and lightly burnt wood hiding beneath a massive head, provoked by the special bottle design, battling to get through the immense bubble fest -- this is not just any old beer down the aisle. Mellow, lingering and well-crafted, this is a highly drinkable beer from.... Italy? Who would have thought.....

Bottled 0,75L. Extremely lively and bulky head, optimal persistence. Dark brown hazel color with mahogany reflexs. Nose of remarkable impact with alcoholic and forts winy rumors; notes of caramel, cacao and stum. Extremely homogenous taste, soft but at the same time sturdy and overbearing alcoholic. Sweetish and liquor long final.

Hazy dark amber color; big head. The aroma is too yeasty in the beginning, then it shows some fruitness from the yeast. The body is quite weak, there is some malt flavor and mainly some caramel; the bitterness is normal, also coming from burnt sugars. I think that the yeast has worked too much in the bottle. At room temperature it improves, the body becomes thicker showing more malt, and a good quality hopping.

Hazy dark amber color. Malty aroma, some yeast, some hops. Malty taste, medium structure, some yeast, caramel, hint of chocolate, some yeast. Quite high bitterness. Good.

Bottle. Murky brown, full head, near perfect looks. Not the most aromatic, hints of fruits and yeast. Flavor has nice depth with hints of ripe fruits and exotic taste. I like Birra Del Borgo.
