Nov 7, 2009 Golden coloured beer with small creamy white head and medium carbonation. A yeasty furity aroma. Full palate. Finish is bit hoppy bitter with a sweet fruity touch ending a bit sour. Nice one.

Oct 30, 2009 Bottle at Bière Mondial 2009, Strasbourg. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Sweet and cheesy. Some dryness. Hints of abricot. Also some reidual sugars. Medium bodied. High carbonation. Funky finish.

Sep 22, 2009 Updated: Oct 6, 2009Bottled 750ml. -at Interbrau exhibition stand on Zagrebački Velesajam. My first del Borgo beer. Cloudy orange/golden coloured, medium to big white head, mild fruity spicy nose. Yeasty, fruity and quite spicy with notes of jam. Citric fruity finish. 5.8%

Jul 22, 2009 birra al farro veramente ben bilanciata.Non è la migliore delle birre del borgo,ma secondo me è una delle più buone.peccato per la schiuma poco persistente,ma buonissimo il sapore fruttato che lascia in bocca,ma soprattutto il leggero amarognolo che accompagna tutta la "bevuta"
è una birra che consiglio a tutti!

Jul 15, 2009 I drink it on tap in Rome. This is a particular spelt beer. Golden body with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malt and fruit. Flavour is light sweet and sour. Soft carbonation and a long fruity on the finish. Good balanced and easy to drink. A very good italian beer.

Jun 20, 2009 Perché tutti questi voti bassi? Io l’ho trovata davvero piacevolissima; non l’ho bevuta freschissima perché era in cantina e in sto periodo fa caldo anche laggiù.. però aroma speziato molto grazioso, carezzevole, sapore molto ben bilanciato, beverina ma sostanziosa. Notevole.

Jun 11, 2009 In short: A bland honeyed fruity ale (ripe fruits) calling itself a Saison
How: From the bottle at Montreal Mondial de Bière 2009
The look: Almost clear blonde body topped by a small white head
In long: Shy nose of honey and grass. Taste is mostly fruity with no discernable Saison character. Ripe mangos, ripe apricots, ripe other fruits, all wrapped in honey. Just of bowl of fruity honeyed cereals. Some grass in the finish. Not only did the beer had no Saison character but the thin oily texture really didn’t feel Belgian at all. Sold as a blonde ale it would be a bland one, but sold as a Saison this Italian brew is truly insulting and I feel like making a mean comment about the brewer’s sister or mother.
