omhper (10140), Stockholm, Sweden May 8, 2008 Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Clear pale golden, airy head. Interesting herbal nose. Medium sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel, Medium bodied with an interesting combination of vanilla and bitter herbs. Fresh, drinkable and intense, although perhaps a bit edgy.
bu11zeye (3573), Frisco, Texas, USA Jun 29, 2008 (750ml bottle) Pours a hazy yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of Gentian flowers, citrus, black pepper, and dustiness. Flavor of florals, biscuit, apricot, tea leaves, and various other herbs. Another interesting brew in Italian brewing. Swalden_28 (508), McKinney, Texas, USA Jun 16, 2008 Bottle, thanks to Bu11zeye.
Pours a cloudy yellow-orange with some sediment floating around and white head. Aroma is very floral. Flavor of grapefruit with an interesting spice, also detecting a little orange?
Has a light-medium body, high carbonation. It was allright... dyetube (366), Dallas, Texas, USA Jun 15, 2008 Tasting 06/15/08 Thanks bu11zeye again! Svesse (1498), Hässelby, Sweden Jun 11, 2008 (Bottle, Monk’s Café, Stockholm) Golden amber colour with brief, foamy, white head. Fruity, floral nose with herbs, caramel and fresh grass. Fruity, herbal taste with notes of flowers, spices and bitter-sweet hints of gentian lingering in the background. Surprisingly light body, fairly dry. Refreshing and nice with balanced notes of gentian. Stew41 (840), Caulfield, Australia May 31, 2008 Wow! Amazing yet subtle pepper and spice streaks throught the nose and palate. Good hop action too; pale ale-like in this respect. Ultra-clean build that could be accused of lacking a little stuffing.
