A little bit hoppier than the normal ReAle. There´s nothing wrong with that at all. A great beer from Birra del Borgo again (25.5.2009).

Dec 31, 2009 Cask at the White Horse Old Ale Festival, 27th Nov 09. Sublime fruity hop aroma. Perfume, floral notes, citrus - all in balance. On the tongue it’s likewise expertly balanced with great hops and malt. Lovely fresh flavours of lychee, peach with germoline and cereal hints that add even more layers. Wonderful beer.

Dec 31, 2009 Bottle at the Relentless Thirst Tasting on 08/29/2009 as "Extra Re Ale". Clear copper amber body with a medium frothy off-white head. Sweet spiced caramel aroma. Spicy caramel and dark malt flavor. Medium body with moderately high carbonation.

Dec 28, 2009 Bottle from John’s Marketplace in Portland, OR. Pours a light peach color with a four finger whiteish head. Aroma is light stone fruit. Medium body with sharpish foamy carbonation. Flavor is light malt with some pale fruit and a decent amount of bitter hop. A little astringent. Develops a touch of citrus. It is really strongly flavored and quite fresh. Excellent.

Dec 5, 2009 20091205 375ml bottle from State Line. Pretty neat cap had some kind of plastic seal on the inside. Light haze, light amber color with large and mostly lasting beige head that sheets fine lace. Aroma is bready, lightly toasted, with citrus and pineapple sweetness and some mild alcohol. Light bodied, a bit too light, but rounds out okay with a lip smacking orange marmalade finish. Some herbal notes emerge with temp. Lingering but mild resinous pine bitterness. Very drinkable and quite fresh seeming for relatively mild beer that’s traveled from Italy, but for the same money I could have had a six pack of any number of equally good local IPAs.

Nov 28, 2009 Taster at The mondial de la biere 09 in Montreal. The color is amber with a thin beige head. The aroma is of hops and fruits. The taste is also of hops ++ and sweet fruits and honey. The dryness is very pleasant in the mouth and a good after taste.

Nov 19, 2009 On tap @ Coles Buffalo NY. Pours a medium golden orange. Floral, soap, pot pourri fills the aroma. Taste is floral soapy, perfumy, lavender, medium bitterness. Nice fuller mouthfeel. Decent but too floral.

Nov 18, 2009 ( 750ml bottle thanks to bu11zeye) Pours very cloudy orange with nice head. Nose of honey and cinnamon. Taste is very sweet, spices, finishes creamy with nice carbonation. This was one smooth IPA.
