Commercial Description:
A brand-new beer from a brand-new, very promising head-brewer. India Pale Ale following the American Pale Ale style with a fruity aroma (grapefruit), with peppery notes (East Kent Goldings), a rich taste of malts (Maris Otter and Crystal), with a very long bitter and citrus finish typical of Cascade hops.

The tap beer in Bir & Fud in Rome. One of the best beers I´ve ever tasted. It´s fresh and perfectly hoppy for me. Something similarity with Huvila beers (24.5.2009).

Bottle 75 cl from Eataly Bologna, exp. 9/2010. Not much head, but has lacing. Resembles some ESB’s, perhaps the EKG has survived better than the Cascade. Rather sweet and full-bodied. Sticky bitterness.

Bottle 75cl.
Clear medium to dark orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, nutty, spicy, moderate hoppy, orange. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and shell bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090901]

On tap at Bir & Fud. Pour hazy gold with a big white head (takes a long time to pour at the restaurant). Aroma of grapefruit and other citrus hops. Flavor is sweet for a pale ale, and the hops have almost a tea like quality. Another decent brew.

Bottle… Hazy caramel-colored ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. Honey, fruity nose with an unidentified household spice that neither my wife nor I can place (Nutmeg? Ginger? A blend of the two?). Medium-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and tickling carbonation. Sweet, fruity, spicy flavor with light tanginess and low bitterness. Tangy, sweet, and then dry finish.

On tap at In de Wildeman (cask? no carbonation...) Light hazy golden orange colour, creamy frothy white head. Gentle aroma of grapefruity hops, sweet oranges, mango, some yeast. Flavour is sweet, very fruity, oranges, tangerine, light grapefruity hops in the finish, along with some earthy liquorice notes. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied. Nice beer!
