Commercial Description:
Born from the Italian beer brewing tradition, BAFFO D’ORO is a premium, pure malt beer. It is produced using only selected varieties of malted barley and contains no other cereals. The result is a beer with an alcoholic content of 4.8% volume and is characterized by its lively golden colour, to which it owes its name. BAFFO D’ORO with its deep malted flavour fits perfectly with a variety of Italian meals, from pasta to roast meat to pizza.

In Positano. Bottle from corner market. Decent. Smooth and a bit sweet. Some basic malt flavors. Decent for a bunch of people sitting around a drinking with no real discerning taste. Not really excellent wow beer, but a solid everybody will like it type of drink. It doesn’t have that piss-poor macro taste though.

330ml bottle. Gold straw in colour with a thick tightly packed white head and good carbonation. Strong malt aroma with slighty soapy undertones. Clean and crisp taste with a dry texture and bitter aftertaste of corn and malt.

33cl bottle into lager glass. A clear golden beer with a loose white head. Not much on the nose - some light citrus aromas in there. Light bodied with sweetcorn malt flavours and and an unpleasant metallic taste at the end. Too sweet for my liking. Nothing to distinguish it from any bland mass produced lager.

[Bottled at Hotel Bentleys, Sthlm] Golden with a large, brief white head. Sourish in both aroma and flavour. Cereal with lemon. Ok maltiness but overall a standard lager.

12 oz bottle at Italian italian restaurant. Gold to almost slight amber color. head did not last long at all. Barely any malt flavor but noticed hops. The hop flavors may be better then Bud/Coors brands but low malt balance might be slightly worse.
