Golden with a nicely capped bubbly white head. Enormously malty aroma and flavour. This straight pure malt beer was twice the price of beers but the extra flavour was worth the extra euro spread. Lovely pure malt lager I thought.

Aug 19, 2007 Bottle from some restaurant in Venice, Italy: poure deep golden yellow with a fairly small white head. Moderate hop and grain aroma. Flavor actually surprised me. Had some grassy notes with a little bit of citrus. Very refreshing and crisp. Not worth the 6 Euro per bottle but...

Mar 2, 2008 Gold pour,weak head,no cover to say of,carbonation not strong but enough.Aroma crisp,grainy,malt.Flavour crisp,sweet grain like corn,malt very nice,a flavour I enjoy in beers,bit of a toffee like sweetness,finish is malt sweet.

Has a lot more going for it than the regular Moretti. Exploding head and a relativly powerfull aroma of almonds and malts. Flavor is nice and clean, with a decent amound of hob bitterness. Has a touch of american pine hobs. Very nice for the style.

Dec 14, 2007 33 cL bottle, thanks to faroeviking. Pours golden and clear orange with a fully diminished white head. Mild grassy towards slight bitter. Mild sweetness. Has a delicate bitterness before the sweetness. Solid bitterness again in the finish.

Jun 27, 2007 From my notes 6/10/07 pours a two-finger white head that vanishes to a ring, leaving no lace. Clear amber color. Slight hoppy nose. Light-medium carbonation and light-medium bodied. Flavor is balanced with a slight bitter finish. €11 ($15.07) for a 330ml bottle from the Gran Caffè Chioggia Venice, Italy. Yes it is expensive, that’s 30 bucks for two beers, this is the big restaurant right on the corner in St. Mark’s square in Venice - avoid. Vendors along the canal have cold beers for €3.
