[ As Moretti La Rossa ].Clear medium amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, nutty, burnt caramel, brown sugar. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. For me it is a bit to industrial a beer. [20081128]

Mar 8, 2009 Colore rosso ambrato,schiuma cremosa e consistente,aroma maltato,caramello.Al gusto si percepisce malto,caramello e richiami di liquirizia.Amara nel finale.
Di solito non bevo birre industriali italiane,ma questa è decente rispetto ad altre.Di certo la migliore della Moretti.Per fortuna qui in Italia esistono i microbirrifici!

Mar 7, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours a thin head of good duration, with short lived lacing, over an amber brown clear body.....nose of sweet malts, caramel....tastes initially of caramelly sweetness, tailing off into slight dryness, finishing with minimal bitterness, although sweetness lingers, and hops are minimal throughout....mouthfeel is medium to light, carbonation medium. It certainly meets the style.

Mar 2, 2009 Bottle. Pours a brownish color with a white head. Caramel and roasted malts were present in the nose. Flavor was creamy and richer. Decent aftertaste. Smooth on the palate. Medium body. Good.

Feb 18, 2009 Bottle. Poured deep brown with thick lasting white head. Some lacing. Lekker aroma of malt, caramel and roast. Full sweet malty flavour with more caramel. Good hoppiness in the finish to balance the sweet malt

Feb 9, 2009 Tasted from a bar near Santa Croce. Amberish colour red. Caramly taste on front quite fruitty. Dry at back. Medium head. Nice beer from a big company. Doesn’t have long afterfeel but nice to drink against other lagers.

Feb 9, 2009 A- Pours a clear brown/amber hue with 2 fingers’ of white, creamy head that is mostly diminishing, with nice lacing throughout
S- Nose is of dark fruits (raisins) and caramel/toffee malts, some other fruits, roastiness, and honey in the background
T- Initial taste is characterized by caramel malts, much like an american red/amber style (Pizza Port Shark Bite comes to mind here), followed by some breads and the finish is almost non-existent, very very light hops going on here, definitely "malt-forward"
M- Medium bodied, oily texture that coats the tongue, good carbonation, very smooth overall
D- Nice amber/dopple hybrid that is easy-drinking, the 7%abv is well-masked and this would go well with various Italian foods, this has a little more charisma than the other international lagers I have sampled tonight, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to pick it up again

Feb 5, 2009 Great brew pours a beautiful amber initial sweet taste with a malty after taste not bitter sweet aroma smooth not overly sweet its draw is the color love the color good stuff would do again and again
