Commercial Description:
Birra Moretti La Rossa is a double bock beer produced using high quality 100% malted barley, giving it a rich sweet taste and an intense fragrance of roasted malt. The amber colour that characterizes the beer, comes from kind of malt used in the recipe (malt is dried, roasted barley). Another key ingredients is hops, the variety used is particularly aromatic, giving a characteristic bitter aftertaste and a delicate fragrance to the beer. The Master Brewers advise a service temperature between 10° and 12° C.

12oz bottle at the Crosswoods Winking Lizard. Pours a clear blood red with a huge off-white head. Malty aroma with some fruit presence. Malty flavor with yeast and a buttery mouthfeel. Not bad.

Got this in northern italy in a grocery store. This is a clear reddish color with a malt aroma mixed with fruit. The taste is like a dark chocolate with a slight bitterness and sweetness.

Aroma is a full roasted malt, caramel, clear ruby, small toffee head. Flavour begins with a bite of malt, almond, black cherry, chestnuts, caramel and some toffee notes. Very well balanced, light bodied but a very pleasant mouthfeel, slightly sweet then bitter with a dry finish. More complex than anticipated. A most pleasant treat.

Pours ruby red, with a brown disappearing head. Aroma is quite chocolate malty, with a wee bit of fruit. Flavour is slight bitter with a lot of the burnt malt flavour, the aftertaste is unpleasant and sugary.

Pours a deep golden brown color with a small tan colored head. Aroma is very sweet and malty with some caramel and woody notes. Flavor starts very sweet and picks up a nice biscuit breadiness. Some deep roasted malts lead into a nutty finish with some bitterness that lingers. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Nice even bock beer that simply fits the standard.

Vörösesbarna színű bock amin szép bézs színű hab terpeszkedik,elég kitartóan.Kellemes gyümölcsös illata van.Íze édeskés,karamellás,pörkölt malátás.Jól esően melegít az alkohol.Később diszkréten csatlakozok hozzá a komló kesernyéssége is,ami az utóízre is jellemző.Ez finom!

Bottle from Total Wine. Pours a large tan-colored head over an amber body with tight curtains of lacing. The nose is malty with notes of wheat and toffee. Similar flavors that include cola, subtle toffee, more roasted maltiness, and subtle caramel. Low carbonation and medium/full body. Alcohol content is hidden well. A decent beer; very representative for the style.
