Aroma of almonds, malts & alcohol. Very prickly. Flavor quite pleasantly sweet (turbinado sugar) and malty, with some faint bubblegum esthers. Some slight burning. Mild bitterness clearly overwhelmed by the other flavors. marcus (1904), Sacramento, California, USA

Nice clear brown color with an off-white head, lots of carbonation. Slightly metallic aroma with notes of toffee, caramel and a bit of leather. Simple and straightforward flavor of roasted malt, caramel and brown sugar. Finishes crisp and dry, very easy drinking. Good lasting bitterness that complements the beer’s sweetness well. Nice Italian session brew that can be drank all evening. lassem (320), Copenhagen, Denmark
