Commercial Description:
Birra Moretti La Rossa is a double bock beer produced using high quality 100% malted barley, giving it a rich sweet taste and an intense fragrance of roasted malt. The amber colour that characterizes the beer, comes from kind of malt used in the recipe (malt is dried, roasted barley). Another key ingredients is hops, the variety used is particularly aromatic, giving a characteristic bitter aftertaste and a delicate fragrance to the beer. The Master Brewers advise a service temperature between 10° and 12° C.

Red amber colour, white and creamy foam. Simple aroma: malt and sugar, little caramel.

Bottle poured a clear, dark reddish brown with a lasting, creamy tan head. Aromas of figs, molasses, and carmel. Palate was medium bodied and crisp. Flavors of sweet malt, carmel, molasses and a bit of fruitiness with a sweet, lingering finish.

Copper color. Very full and thick creamy off-white head. Caramel malt aroma with some "old spice" in there. Very sweet malty caramel body. A slight bit stale, and overall, a bit too sweet for me.

(Bottle) Pours a dark amber body with a large long-lasting rocky beige head. Aroma of malt, caramel, and raisins. Flavor of malt, cocoa, and fruit with a dry, somewhat bitter finish.

Pours a brownish almost root beer colored. Sweet caramel/malt aromas. Smooth malty flavor with a nice hop bite.

From a bottle. Deep brownish red color with a thick and lasting slightly off-white head. Very attractive. Aroma is sweet and malt with some apple and pear along with molasses notes. Surprisingly good caramel, brown sugar, molasses flavor with hints of dried fruit. Easy to drink without skipping out on flavor or body. Impressive entry from a company I usually make fun of.

I thought this stuff was pretty kick ass. Had a thick body, tasted a bit of chocolate and toffee. Also very drinkable, good stuff.

Very nice, I liked its sweet flavor and soft it is after taste. Veyr nice in colour, and the foam is just great.
