Jan 20, 2005 Bottle, from Rythym & Booze, Brigg. Gold, thin shortlived white head and soft condition. Sweet peardrops and apple notes in the nose, quite malty in the mouth with a metallic edge and a little oiliness. Low sweetness and little else in the finish.

Dec 14, 2004 Yellow color not properly clearly. Aspect much limpid one with one fizzy of medium intensity. Compact and evanescente foam. Modest body lean with a sufficient bitter. The end however is very bad.

May 10, 2004 clear pale golden colour with little and chaotic foam, aroma of butter and plastic, sweet and deeply flavourless, neutral finish - after this beautiful example of beer castration, I’m not really "sans souci" ...

Mar 5, 2004 Pasteurised Bottle. BBE 09/04 Whiskey malt aroma rises pleasantly on opening the bottle, but this soon diminishes, though it does remain. Crisp, clean and dry. Light to medium bodied. Some gentle hops, and gentle malt. Not much in the way of quality or flavour, but drinkable and mostly inoffensive. Some licorice notes come through. Not bad.
