That guy on the label looks like something out of Road to Perdition -oh... that’s a mug of beer he’s got in his hand. Okay, he’s harmless. So I’m a fan of Mob movies; that’s what inspired me to buy the 6-pack. Pours a straw yellow with a 1-finger frothy head that quickly subsides to a frothy film leaving ample lace on the sides. The aroma is sweet malt/grains, grass, with a hint of floral and yeast and a faint innuendo of honey. Malt and grains dominate in the flavor, the hops come through in the aftertaste although not overpowering, ending in a clean finish. Smooth carbonation. A nice, light-bodied beer for a sunny summer afternoon. jimmack34 (567), Lancaster, Ohio, USA

Aroma was minimal with a faint hint of hops. First taste is quite good - hoppy with a mild bitterness, although this quickly degenerates into watery macro lager territory. Very little aftertaste. Had this many a time in Italy and I have to say in the sun, on the beach, by the pool, whilst reading a book, this is a great relaxing, thoughtless beer. But in England, in February, to savour... no. (EDIT: Had one out of the bottle and it was a wee bit better, less watery, but still not great) eManu (204), Brussels, Belgium
| 0.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Feb 4, 2009 Had this beer in an Italian restaurant with my lasagna. It was served to me in a Leffe glass. Pfff... It pours a clear yellow with almost no head. It tastes very blend almost like a light beer coton like there is paper in the beer or something that was messed up. It was just, just drinkable. nhamilton (68), Cibolo, Texas, USA
