| 0.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 3/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Sep 30, 2008 Bottle from Tesco. Good looking light gold colour with pure white head that rapidly vanishes. That’s as good as it gets. One of the most bland beers I’ve ever had. Little aroma (what there is is malt), no hop characteristics whatsoever, unpleasant tang in the finish and a thin body makes this a deeply unsatisfying beer. I might just send them some dog turds in the post to register my disapproval. liinis (721), Helsinki, Finland

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Sep 19, 2008 This is pretty much a plain flavored beer. Not bad, but could be better. This beer is very similar to Peroni. A very loose try at a pilsner. kosko20 (313), Bemidji, Minnesota, USA
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Sep 19, 2008 Another boring beer. Aroma...water with maybe some malt. Appearance, pale yellow...no head. Flavor, lemons and yeast. Palate, nothingness with a slightly bitter finish. Pale Lagers....they just don’t cut it. popephred (193), Plainfield, Illinois, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Sep 14, 2008 Poured from the bottle into a double walled pint glass. Pour produced a golden yellow body with no head. Aroma is fairly funky with some notes of lemon in the background which isn’t unpleasant. Carbonation is crisp, body watery, and flavor is dry. Palate is a dry, bitter hops which lingers for a bit, but is ultimately inconsequential. While I am not a huge fan of pale lagers, this certainly has more character than most. I think that it’s commercial description is apt: It is suitable at anytime of the day. It is a non-threatening beer which if that’s what you want, certainly fits the bill. daknole (3025), Scottsdale, Arizona, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 13, 2008 Bottle. This is a decent pale lager that has some pilsner character in the grassy hops in the nose and on the tongue but it lacks any strong body or malt presence. Light pale gold, thin quickly dissipating off-white head. Crisp biting flavor with a light lingering bitterness. I’ll take this over a BMC pale!! Slipstream (785), USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Sep 5, 2008 This is one of only a couple of Italian beers that are easy to find in America, and it is the first one I am rating. It ranks pretty low overall, but fairly high in the style. That shows how ratebeer drinkers feel about pale lagers (although this seemed more like a pilsner to me). The nice label shows a painting of a gentleman in a dark green suit. Pale pour with a fizzy, disappearing head. This has a fairly typical Euro pilsner aroma: Czech hops with a little lemon and honey, plus a faint whiff of urine. The taste is dry pilsner. It does not fall into the trap of adding a lot of sugary sweetness, so it stays crisp and bright. Moretti has virtually no aftertaste and makes very little impression on the palate. A decent light brew.
