Commercial Description:
Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

Pours with a yellow golden hue. Clarity is a bit hazy - can’t see fully through the glass. The head is small and is mostly diminishing. The beer also has light, very light carbonation. Strong grain aroma, with some yeast, with light hops. Start is a little watery but the finish is bittersweet! Feels very light on the palate! Not a bad pale lager at all! Not a bad beer to drink huddled around a T.V. watching the 2008 Summer Olympics!

Pretty standard lager... not horrible. I’m not really a lager person and it was reasonably drinkable. Not something I’d typically drink by choice.

Tried this beer at Sole Sapori in monut Horeb Wisconsin and was suprised how good it is for a lager being that i’m not a big lager fan to begin with. Nice hop and malt flavor for a lager.

Typical lager characteristics all around. Fairly malty, with light hops. The Italians brew a good beer.

Golden blond coloured, light carbonation and a small blond head. Very light, hoppy aroma. Medium smouth palate. Finish is bittersweet, hoppy with a light bitter ending. Nicely balanced.

Straw blonde with vibrant upward carbonation and film of head that diminishes upon tasting. Light grainy aroma with a crisp malt flavor with muted hop in the blend. Crisp, lightly flavorful and easy drinking with slight hop bitterness.
