Commercial Description:
Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

50cl bottle, most supermarkets in Inverness. Not bad, does the job. Personally, find it better than Peroni. Hoppy , yet crisp. Also on tap in No. 27 Inverness.

66cl bottle. A typical yellow coloured lager with a large, fluffy white head. Lightly hoppy aromas of hay and grass. Clean and crisp sweetish flavours with a slight degree of bitterness in the finish. Light mouthfeel with a thin finish. Lovely and refreshing on a hot summer’s day.

Bottle. A pretty good pale lager for what that’s worth. Golden yellow color, light fizzy head that dissipated rapidly. Tasted a little malty for a lager, a touch of caramel, and some standard hops flavor. A bit overcarbinated which lead to a slightly harsh mouthfeel. Went reasonably well with fajitas, of all things.

Smells like a lager with a slight bit more hops. Some yeast, coriander, and lemon zest. Taste is yeasty, mildly metallic. Slilghtly bitter, some carmelly notes. Nothing offending about the palate, plenty of bubbly

330 ml bottle. Straw color, very low white head. No real aroma, light malty flavor. Light body, watery texture. A truly boring product indeed.

On draft at Carrabba’s...Poured golden yellow w/ a small, fluffy, white head. The aromas were grains, malts, and a tiny bit of funk. The flavors were fairly smooth blend of bitter hops, grains, and hay. Very light, easy drinking lager. Not as offensive, as some pale lagers I’ve had...It leaned more towards a highly hopped pils. Not terrible...

Bottle bright greenish brown, 330 ml, 11.3P
Appearance: Pale yellow, like shiny pee, carbonation is strong and very lively, similar to a fizzy drink, body looks very thin, head initially is foamy with irregular structure, than becomes rocky while decreasing, head is white and quite positive as for Pale Lager, carbonation too, but body - very, very thin, very shiny and very clear.
Aroma: Rather hoppy on yhe top, with very gentle not disturbing initial hint of skunkyness, dust, rust, not noble hops and malts, alcohol is hidden, no yeastyness, slightly mineral nose, very gentle, weak, faint, generally after about 3 minutes aroma totally disappears, all in all beer not for smelling.
Flavour: Front is neutral, only mineral due to carbonation, again almost as fizzy drink on palate, tahn when it gets warmer on palate appears a weak malty accent balanced with gentle hoppy nose, but nothing speciall to notice, regular Pale Lager, presenting not much saltyness, finish is short, nice to dine with as a table beer or for a hot day, easy going.
Palate: Wattery, body is light, carbonation on palate is like of a fizzy drink, malt, chalk, dust, a bit accidic finish.

Pale and clearwith a minimal head. The taste is absent. It’s watery light body, thin and flat. Proberbly good if you are dehydrated and need fluid...
