Commercial Description:
Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

Pale golden pour, lots of pure white foam. Mildy sweet, slightly skunky aroma. Tastes like dirty grain and watered down bier. Weak corn aftertaste.

Pours a light straw color with a large white head. THe nose is floral with just a touch of sweetness. The flavor follows through with an earthiness and a nice bitter finish. Not bad.

Bottle. Translucently golden yellow pour with a pillow white head. Lacing is in and out in a heart beat. Aroma is corn and funky cider. Flavor is....where? I taste nothing. Absurdly watery. Drinkable, but that’s because it’s there’s nothing in this.

Pale yellow with very thin head. Carbonated. Straw / grain aroma. Grain / straw and mild hop bitter flavours. Light bitter finish.

tasted like the bud light of italy. Was not impressed at all. Pretty dissappointed that I bought this in the first place. Won’t buy again.

Bottle. Pours a light brown/yellow with an average head that fades quickly. Not the worst beer I have had. Not much of an aroma, but does have a sweet scent to it not that the beer is sweet. To sum it up a very light beer.

i can sum this one up very simply. im italian and i didnt care for this. that should tell you all you need to know about this beer. have a pbr instead.

Its been a Pilsner night for me. Was not really looking forward to it. Hopes were raised by the nose of Birra Moretti. Subtly sweet almost Hefeweizen sweet. Unfortunately the taste was kind of a let down. Good carbonation but nothing really stands out. However I would drink this with a meal. Lite but not lite if that makes sense. Good dinner/lunch beverage.
