Commercial Description:
Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

Poured a thin yellow color with a very small head that quickly disappeared. Very carbonated brew, not unlike a Stella or a Spaten. Smells a bit sour, Tastes a bit sour. Nothing complex here, just a simple Italian Beer.

Draft. There isn’t much to say about this beer, and I think it is pretty much covered here. Nothing at all stood out.

Highest quality ingredients? Do they use the best rice available? Best fossilized hop flowers? Not much here - kind of sour and yeasty, holds a decent head. Not interesting and not impressive in any sense.

12 oz. bottle poured into lager glass- poured weak golden yellow, bubbly white head quickly disappeared. Aroma of some yeast with some old wheat. Hits the mouth with a thin body, a touch of skunk, with some hop and almost egg notes. Bud is better, can’t imagine what it’s like with an Italian dish. Wait a minute- I can- like one of those Italian rests. that claim it’s homemade but it’s really frozen and overpriced. Yep, that’s about it.

Had this in a brown bottle at a small Italian restaurant in the east end of Scarborough call Fratelli’s. To me it was just slightly better than most generic pale lagers. Drinkable, but nothing to get excited about.

Had this beer on tap at corraba’s. It started off with a nice head, then it all went down hill from there. I suddenly realized i was drinking cheap beer. The taste was nothing special, better than a busch though. It was drinkable, but not great.

Bottle: Pours a clear gold with a white head. Aroma, grassy yeast, some skunky hints, a little bready. Flavor, yeast, grassy, a hint of spicy hops, pale malts, some floral notes.
