Commercial Description:
Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

Had this in a brown bottle at a small Italian restaurant in the east end of Scarborough call Fratelli’s. To me it was just slightly better than most generic pale lagers. Drinkable, but nothing to get excited about.

Had this beer on tap at corraba’s. It started off with a nice head, then it all went down hill from there. I suddenly realized i was drinking cheap beer. The taste was nothing special, better than a busch though. It was drinkable, but not great.

Bottle from Old Chicago. Pale yellow with a one finger white head., low retention. Aroma of grain and light grassy hops. Tste has some cardboard, a little honey, a tinge of hops and toast. Minimal bitterness. Low to moderate carbonation with a watery body. Meh.

I actually enjoy this beer on certain occasions..like when I’m not paying for them. Typical lager color with white head. Nice grassy and grain aroma. Very crisp with a sweet, malty taste. I do like this beer.

330ml bottle. Clear, straw-golden body topped by a white, circular edge. Typical lager aroma; a bit of grass, fruit and pale malt. Fresh and clean tasting of sweet, butter caramel and tart fruits. Flashes of bitterness in a rather short tail. Foamy mouthfeel. Thin to medium palate(17.11.2007).

Really quite delicious, have not met one person who has not at least silmled when drinking this - a true complement. Golden pale lager with grassy and grain aroma. The real "less filling and great tasting" beer.
