Commercial Description:
Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

Bottle. I didn’t pour it out of the bottle, so I am unsure of the color and head. The flavor was of earthy malt, kind of like it was lightly roasted. Not bad for the style.

355ml bottle.
Pale hey colour with a bubble white head. Smells like an average pale lager. Malty with earthy citrus hops. Tate of sweet but bland malts and below average pale lager hops.

Notes from 06 knoxville brewers jam. Clean golden pour. Smooth drinker with a flavor of wet paper. Almost no bitter and a bit thin, but I would drink another.

Typical for an Italian-style lager: yeasty, weak malt flavor, not much bitterness or hops. Comparable to Peroni...this brew is a tiny bit less sweet, and a tiny bit more bitter, but with a bit more of the "macro" sourness. Perfectly drinkable, if a bit bland.

Bottle. Pours a light gold with a weak frothy head. The taste is pretty weak; some hops and a sweet malt. Quite a thin and watery body. Not great, but decent. Drinkable.

Very clear yellow pour with a small head. Grainy and slightly malty aroma. Mild and sweet taste that’s not enjoyable in any season. With its bland nature this would go well with a plate of plain spaghetti.
