Commercial Description:
Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

bottle. Pale yellow, mdeium-sized head. Quite hoppy, but rather thin in general. Thirst-quenching, but nothing special to notice about this lager.

Bottle. Yellow/gold appearance. Aromas of whiskey and cardboard. Bitter, wooden flavour, plus grain and lemon peel. Standard, average stuff with slight depth.

355 mL bottle from LCBO in Huntsville. Pale gold, no head. Aroma of wet hay. Mild taste of sweet malt, and little else. Slightly metallic at the end. Thin. Decently carbonated. Nothing special.

Ommiooddioooo che schifezza, la birra ufficiale di Trenitalia e delle loro discutibili carrozze ristorante; mi ha accompagnato più e più volte ma ora preferisco l’acqua... anzi addirittura la pepsi è meglio. Vade retro.

Bottle. Clear pale golden with a medium sized white head. A bit malty with notes of metal, bread and candlewax. Quite boring.

A typical pale lager with a pleasant taste and very inoffensive overall. In beer-starved Italy, this is OK in a pinch.
