Commercial Description:
Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

By no means a good beer but I like drinking it when I go to an Italian restaurant. Plus it beats Bud, Miller or Coors b/c it’s got a bit more flavor.

Meh. Pale yellow, huge frothy head. Grain aroma. Vaguely malty, some corn cack in the aftertaste. A little sweet, other than that pretty tasteless. Crap.

Pours a clear pale yellow. Dry and slightly strawy. Also sweet. Light bodied. Medium carbonation. Boring.

Rated 6/24/07. Pale golden-yellow color with a medium white head. Somewhat skunky malty aroma, but better than your average pale lager. Similar to Heineken in style, but more refined. Decent enough beer when served very cold on a hot summer day.

12 oz bottle. A decent pale lager that poured a white head with a pale yellow body.

Thin white head on a pale golden body. A typical pale lager, but a point above the average I’ve tasted from Italy. It’s very drinkable, and I would have it again anytime to quench thirst on a hot Summer day.

12 oz. bottle. Kind of a skunk when opened. It kicks up a head half the height of the straight lager glass. Gold pils color, a touch of scarlet in the light. Smell improves in the glass, but can’t bring much that could be called "beer." Malts hard to pick out, but I do get a slight bitterness. Mostly standard Heinie clone, though as an import it may have been out too long. Shame, because their Rosso is pretty nice.
