Commercial Description:
Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

330ml bottle from mix lacklustre 10 pack I got for Christmas. Not much to the nose, maybe a subtle bit of floral hops. Pale gold body with white head. Has a pleasant floral hop flavour with a slight bit kick to finish. One of the better mainstream international lagers out there, but nothing to go nuts about.

Bottle Nothing special. Doesn’t taste exactly like Heineken, but okay. Probably wouldn’t drink again.

okay, got in a bottle at the bar. Taste was average, can’t pick out anything particular about it, but still okay.

Pours a translucent golden yellow with a smaller white bubbly/foamy head. Aroma was grassy, citrusy and fruity. Flavor of corn, some malty sweetness, very slight traces of hop bitterness, thin and watery with some tingling carbonation.

I was a bit surprised to see how low this one was rated. I quite liked it. Had it a few times last week at home and at Mona Lisa’s. Went very well with the Italian Food at Mona Lisa’s

Poured a light gold with lots of bubbles and a head that wa quickly gone. Probably the last new beer for some time here in Panama. Better than Panama beer, but the third ingredient is corn, so we’re not talking quality here.

Not bad for a lager. Much better than its American counterparts. The aroma was awful like dead wheat. The light gold color looked a lot like a Budweiser but without the head. Perhaps the guy on the front of the beer had it whacked. The taste was that of a typical pale lager from here but with a lot more carbonation which gave it more bite and allowed it to sit longer without getting flat. Not bad for this type of beer but I was hoping for better from the country my ancestors came from. I want to grab the guy on the front, kiss him, and say, "You broke my heart Birra"
