Commercial Description:
Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

Bottle. Barely a aroma and a thin pour left this to be sitting flat in my glass. Flavor is decently balanced but lacks of any real flavor. Not too bad of a beer but not really worth trying again.

A pale yellow coloured beer, fizzy, with a frothy white head. a metallic hop nose, slightly zesty. The taste is dry, a mild metallic hop flavour that becomes dull as the beer warms up. This has to be served well chilled to be anything like drinkable! A typical example of mass produced “B.Y.L. - Boring Yellow Liquid!” (Bottle - Prezzo restaurant, King’s Lynn, Norfolk).

Bottle: My candidate in the election lost tonight, I didn’t deserve anything better. Pours yellow, carbonated, head-free. Aroma is almost non-existent.. it is my belief it once stood near a malt or two and the scent has clung to its jacket. Flavour is notably corn free, but so pale and bland I’ve forgotten it already. So I’ll just make it up.. it.. umm.. it’s "notably bland". Yes, that’s it. Notably bland.

From bottle. Typical lager aroma. Clear blonde in appearance, medium carb. Thin in guts and lacks flavour. Dull. I wanna forget about this beer, Ive got a head ache.

Poured very bright clear gold, with highly carbonated, quickly diminishing white head. Mild aroma of hops and grain, a little skunky. The flavor is off balanced; yeast with weak hops. Skimpy.

Tried this at a local Italian restaurant. Could not tell a difference between this and Heineken. Not at all a good beer.

Sampled with Stegosaurus and Beerded_one at Newtown Beerfest. Pale golden pour with a fast diminishing medium white head, aroma of corn, and skunkiness, taste is also skunky and watery.

Bottle. Lively pour, both with the darting creamy beige head and the strong visible carbonation. Yellow. Cheap grassy and somewhat malty nose, strong sweetness. Thin and watery, much more sweetness than bitterness, slightly malty, clean. Dry, slightly cardboardy aftertaste, still one of the better beers to be ranked under ’Pale Lager’ on this site, and far from unpleasant.
