| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Aug 20, 2006 Bottle. Pours golden yellow with very large white head that fades quickly. The aroma is lots of hay, grass clippings, and some herbal notes. The flavor has a lot of hay, too, but some redeemng malty sweetness. It has a dry, lemony finish with a lingering dry aftertaste. It gets slightly salty as it warms. Nothing great, but it could be much worse. ElBorracho (472), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 19, 2006 Bottle. Pours and looks like every other pale lager you have ever seen. Flavor is bland and unexciting. At least there is some hop presence that saves this from being a completely run of the mill lager. GG (1640), NorCal, California, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 17, 2006 To be honest, I can think of a few beers that would be much, much worse than this, but given the fact that it’s from Italy and let’s face it, Italian beers do not a myth make, I wanted to remain open minded. So with that being said, here’s my opinion. While the aroma, flavor and appearance of the beer are really average (but nice) the mouthfeel is was brings it down. Aroma is grains, corn, some low-level of maltiness in there too but everything was turned down a bit. Appearance was an average golden yellow color, nothing good or bad. Mouthfeel was flat, simple as that. Don’t know if I got a bad batch or what but it was dead. Flavors were nice enough to remind me I was drinking an Italian lager and nothing more. Overall, I enjoyed it about as much as I enjoy mowing my front yard. sersdf (1000), chicago, Illinois, USA

| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Aug 6, 2006 Bold golden yellow color with relatively no head at all. Taste is not offensive like some pale lagers, but rather understated. What I’m trying to say is that there is no real taste other than water and a bit of corn. Very thin body... sinte (88), udine, Italy

Moderate hoppy (herbal) aroma. Clear pale yellow body with an average, frothy, white head; mostly diminishing with a fair lacing.
Flavour is moderately bitter with some sweet note at the beginning; short finish.
Light-to-medium body with a watery texture; flat carbonation; light metallic feeling in the finish.
Honest commercial "lager".
