JohnQPublic (256), Brooklyn, New York, USA Aug 2, 2008 Draught @ Beer Table, Brooklyn. Pours a hazy yellow, white foamy head, hints of which stick around for the whole glass, some lacing. Nose is fruity, lemony citrus, just a hint of spiciness - unusually fragant for a pils. Taste is very much a showcase of grassy, slightly herbal hops, which emerge alongside the subtle slightly crisp malt, almost wheaty, and then stick around in all its grassy, floral glory. Crisp finish maintains the grassy hops, moving towards a palate coating light bitterness. Interesting beer.
thewolf (4152), Kolding, Denmark Dec 4, 2008 Bottel. Thanks to the Italian Guys. Pours hazy golden with a grat, medium, creamy, white head. Aroma has lots of amarillo, grassy hops. Light doughy maltiness. Great, dry mouthfeel. Pleasant flavour, super hoppy mouthfeel. Great amarillo notes, dry and elegant. This is a truly great pilsner. Theis (2495), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 4, 2008 Bottle at ØLbaren - thanks. Clear yellow - white head. Straw, hay, sharpness, grainy, cornfield, sweetness, light brett notes, a bit unclean and unprecise. But nice. travita (808), Lewisville, Texas, USA Dec 4, 2008 Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Smell is honey, malts, hops, and grains. Look is a cloudy yellow golden color with a light head. Taste is light, some hops, some malts. Light and thin.
