Cooked vegetables overwhelms the nose, with some malt and caramel behind it. Sweet with a little alcohol and some grass flavour. The DMS certainly ruined my experience. Subtle but complex aroma of fruits, fresh grounded malt, bread & flowers, such as roses. All of these are carried by a slight ethilic sensation. What amaze me every time I drink a B.I. beer is its smooth and velvety palate, be it a pils or this lovely bock. fonefan (11661), VestJylland, Denmark

Comments: Strange 1L bottle drank in an Italian train. A beautiful beer made with Weihenstephaner’s lager yeast, be it a bock or anything else, it is uniquely fruity, exotic and dry. Beautifully integrated.

Sweetish-dryish spicy wooden herbal malty taste. Dry wooden papery aftertaste with spicy notes. Hints of smoke and roastiness, and vaguely soapy. Quite nice! Strong fruity aroma, especially banana, with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet, fruity, with a light hop note in the finish. Full body, good aftertaste. Another good stuff from this brewery.
