Nose is plenty of grassy, citric and even spicy notes. In the first two glasses i had malty inviting notes were clearly felt. After the third hoppiness starts to be a bit overwhelming, but certainly not boring. The bitter and quite aggressive hoppiness found the perfect marriage in mouth, with honey and bake malt’ contributions. A long and dry finish. I could clearly perceive hop taste in my mouth for about two hours after i’d left LurAgo. A great Pils indeed. -------- drank 2007 version. Another great beer from Lurago. Should be better only if served in 1liter mug!!! JorisPPattyn (5190), Antwerpen, Belgium

The hopbell has to go - it prevents the extremely malty/toasted nose to be perceived. Strangely, I get a nose of Croque Monsieur ... Very malty (!yes!!) beer, very dry malt, and strangely enough, one gets the dryness of dry-hopping without the taste. Crisp finish, with honey, in the good sense of the word ’crisp’. Retronasal finally more hop flavours. Light to medium bodied, long fading flavours. Calling this a "surprise" is not doing this right. I’m sorry about the Croque, but it’s spot-on. I cannot for the love of God understand why the Tipopils, its base is really hoppy and refreshing, is finally better than this maltbomb, posing as hoppy... CEZ (373), Milano, Italy

Taste is clean, crisp, very dry. Hoppiness is bold and evident as the name suggests but not overpowering. Body is light to medium, finish is long and bitter. A very particular "tribute to bavarian hops", as the brewmaster sees it. Great session beer, and personally, I also find it perfect to "clean" your palate before or after a belgian strong ale or imperial stout... Agostino the brewer did a great job, sadly he brews this beer only twice a year, so it disappears immediately...
A crispy, bitter, small masterpiece.... Voivod (304), Como, Italy

Good hoppy aroma with hints of flowers. Obviously this beer has a strong hop flavour, but even some malt sweetness. Not as bitter as it could seem. fiulijn (7420), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy
