JMFG (1173), Florida, USA May 9, 2008 Courtesy TheCheeseMan. Cloudy light straw color with a broken head. Odd vinegary/brine aroma, light spicy, a hint of funk. Lightly briny taste, some citrus, grain. As with the Te, the brine character really is too much for me. I don’t know what makes this happen, but I’m finding I don’t like it so much.
Rciesla (871), Brick City, New Jersey, USA Oct 10, 2008 Bottle. Pours light amber yellow body with a light head. Floral notes, elderberries and a hint of honey. No etoh noticed. Light pilsner malt and a tart sweetness. Illini08 (519), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA Oct 4, 2008 Sampled at the Carolina Crew tasting last month. Light yellow pour. Lightly sour and tart aroma. Tart and floral taste. Lots of flavor for such a low ABV. BuckeyeSammy (383), New York City, New York, USA Sep 11, 2008 Hazy orange head with Tartness, a lot of carbonated spice. Dry, watery finish with a healthy amount of funk on the caboose . Sleepy brought this back from Birrificio in Italy. durhambeer (535), Durham, USA Sep 7, 2008 Bottle at Carolina Crew tasting. Saw this on sale at Sam’s and was put off by all the spices. Overall, though, this was a very solid beer. Cloudy bright orange pour with white head. Tart aroma. Citrus, rosehips, vegetable notes. Some bread. Solid, and a nice low-alcohol beer. Great way to start off the night. ucusty (1214), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Sep 7, 2008 Carolina Crew tasting. Bottle courtesy of Todd! Thanks! Hazy light amber pour with fluffy white head. Tart aroma. Tart up front with a floral finish
