Thanks John. The beer pours to a murky orange body with a frothy white head. The aroma is huge. Violets, roses, sour something, sweat. The flavor is delicate flowers, sweet/sour funk. Pineapple. The palate is tart, nice feeling. This is a great beer.

One of the funnest brew of the tasting. Hazed amber color with a moderate white head. Funky aromas with lavender, spice, cinnamon, and hints of brett. Mildly citric in the flavor, with light lemon grove and wild flowers fields in the background. Equally as complex as pannepot, but the flavors and aroma, to me, where much more enjoyable.

I thought it was a saison, and this is what I imagine saison used to be when it was intended as a refreshing beverage. Some acid in the aroma. Barnyard and horseblanket aroma. Sour, yeasty flavor. No alcohol in the nose or flavor, which is what I expected. I finished off the contents of the swing top bottle 6 days after first opening. The beer is still sour, but also has more of an earthy quality. It is brown and opaque with lots of sediment. This is good.

Dark orange colour, quite cloudy, few, but creamy and persistent had. Wonderful aroma, with the scent of many flowers. Very light flavour, dominated by the orange peels taste. It seems like a light and not so complex version of Orval.

1 litre swing top bottle. Pours orange with a white head. Smells perfumy with citrus and lots of fruit. Taste is lemony with lots of nice fruity elements and sour undertones.

Bottle from Belmont station. Hazy gold with some pink, sort of looks like it turns into a big gooseberry in the middle, if that makes any sense. Some apricot in the nose, bay laurel, leather? heather?? grape?? Drying acidity with great subtle complexities, floral, but not sickly, definitely some rye in the flavor, light yet still satisfying. I’m somewhat dazzled!

pours a murky light orange color with a huge creamy off-white head. little bit of sediment floating in glass. aroma of flowery hops and black pepper. aroma is somewhat similar to a fantome saison. flavor has notes of hops, pepper, bread, peanut brittle, grapes and berries. light bodied. hint of tartness on the palate. seems more like a summer beer than winter.

Pre-GTMW tasting @ 1FastSTi’s place. Hazy pale with off-white head. Light horse, bread and cookie dough aroma. The flavor with lightly tart, lemon and peach. The mouthfeel is light with soft carbonation and slightly thin. 8/4/8/3/14

rerated based on sample from argo0 Much more funky this time around with an improved mouthfeel.
