MartinT (4241), Montreal, Quebec, Canada May 3, 2008 My Bottom Line:
Sweet pot-pourri notes and pointy pink grapefruit pith ride this slender and quizzical estival quencher.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-Chunks of yeast abound in the cloudy beige topped with a slim veil of foam.
-In the same "flowery, light, and quenching" category, I would much rather go for a Rosée d’Hibiscus.
-Is it the spice and flower blend, or is lactobacillus creeping up on this one?
-The citrusy fruitiness is dangerously close to that of a cleaning agent in its chemical leanings.
-Bubbles are big are take up a lot of room in the palate.

bhensonb (2687), Woodland, California, USA Jun 25, 2008 750 ml bottle opened with quite a pop. Aromas of citrus, unknown spice and yeast? Hazy orange tinged gold color with a minimal white head. Medium body with creamy carbonation. A slightly brett-like sour for flavor with light spice, some yeast, and a lot of lighter fruits. I think I detect a little rose oil on the palate. Only a slight floral hoppiness. Reasonably dry. There’s a lot going on here. It’s very fresh and refreshing. A session ale for sure. Un poco una delusione. beerbuzzmontreal (2666), Montreal, Quebec, Canada May 13, 2008 Pours a hazy orange color with a thin white head. Aroma of honey, citrus and other fruits and spices. Good flavor of honey, fruits including citrus and spices, there is some dryness along the way. The body is light with a powdery texture and gentle carbonation. This beer is interesting considering the low abv%. jayg (976), Florida, USA May 9, 2008 Courtesy TheCheeseMan. Cloudy light straw color with a broken head. Odd vinegary/brine aroma, light spicy, a hint of funk. Lightly briny taste, some citrus, grain. As with the Te, the brine character really is too much for me. I don’t know what makes this happen, but I’m finding I don’t like it so much. (Rating #1662)
