Commercial Description:
Against the beauty of snow, stately rows of apple trees overlook Long Island Sound and reflect serenity. Our unique blend of apple varieties have been transformed by cyro-extraction, as if they had been frozen on the trees. The result is a sweet, aromatic, full bodied dessert wine. The apple and fruit essences delight the palette, complementing chocolate, cheesecake, shortbread cookies, Bishop’s Orchards Bakery Fruits of the Farm Pie or Apple Crisp

(375ml, thanks CaptainCougar) Slii apple juice body with slight viscosity. Aroma is medium sweet, apple juice, light honey. Taste is sweet, boozy apple. Sticky body.

375mL bottle, courtesy of CaptainCougar. Thanks, Tom! Pours a clear, bright golden-orange color with solid legs; headless. Lots of intense, sweet apples in the aroma; intense apples, honey, and well-contained alcohol; touch of caramel, green apple character. Full mouthfeel: intensely sweet, generous apple character; loads of honey, floral notes, and sweet, crisp apples; clean edges, minimal alcohol, and a clear expression of fruit overall. Lengthy finish: loads of sweetness, honey, and crisp apples; lacking the funk of French-style ciders, but great apple character overall.

This orchard’s attempt at an ice cider. Pours still with a nice neck and a hint of apple texture. Smells of sweet apples, touches of honey, some elements of brown sugar and spice. Taste is sweet with a mouthfeel that is on the velvety side. Impressive!
