mustangjoe (172), redondo beach, California, USA Apr 26, 2008 Not all that pleasing. Golden color pour with a decent sized head. Aroma was slightly fruity. Smooth but slightly off flavor. hopdog (5527), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 19, 2008 I’m assuming this is the one I had? 12oz bottle labeled Organic Blonde Ale (but why are the ratings from so long ago, hmm). Poured a deeper and cloudy golden color with a huge sized head. Aromas of earthy mustiness, citrus, and grapes. Tastes of citrus, grains, and a light tart finish. mephisto (1144), Taiwan May 20, 2006 cloudy golden with small head, the aroma is of citrus and the flavor is crisp and slightly sweet with a mildly bitter finish. thelandstander (46), Davis, California, USA Nov 3, 2005 Updated: Nov 4, 2005A crisp, straw colored beer. While it was somewhat lacking in flavor its pleasant crispness more than made up for it. Pretty good. Tubbfan (144), Joliet, Illinois, USA Jun 21, 2005 Poured from a bottle, lasting head, little lacing. More aroma than flavor (and not much of either). Nothing objectionable about this one, kind of pleasant. Very smooth, but disappointing lack of full flavor. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA Sep 13, 2004 Crisp clean and a tad spicy. A very nice summer time beer. Extremely smooth and easy to drink. psychodrama311 (122), petaluma, Nevada, USA Dec 21, 2002 had this a couple of tymes. and both tymes it was a fresh batch. sweet with a tad spicy flavor. smells like a summer afternoon. beerguy101 (3861), Newark, California, USA Sep 17, 2002 Medium straw color, very large head. A medium bodied Kolsch style ale. Subtle malts, mild and somewhat sweet. Mild hops with a slight spiciness. Good flavor. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Nice refreshing ‘summer’ beer.
