We had to wait awhile with a dinner plate under the bottle for the fountain of foam to subside. Once this could be poured, a pale orange color gave way to a light pink head. Stunning colors! The palate was rough, similar to this brewer's Rye Ales. The dominant flavor was that of grapefruit. Tartness and sourness is bound together by a strong hop bite. If not for the overcarbonation, this would rate high for uniqueness. psychodrama311 (122), petaluma, Nevada, USA

Pilsner style beer that is slightly tart, more like a cider than a beer. Cranberry flavor is pronounced, yet not overpowering. Aftertaste has fruity overtones, yet there is a slight hop bitterness to the beer. The label claims that they use an ale yeast instead of a lager yeast. The fruitiness of the berry melds with the malts and hops very well. Very different beer. Gusler (2655), Tucson, Arizona, USA
