Commercial Description:
In the past era, hard working rural "Saisonniers" consumed 5 liters per day of this style beer. We re-created it for today's modern worker using Belgian yeasts and sour mashing for a refreshing spiceness and acidity to enliven your palate. Bottle conditioning leaves some sediment, so decant by slowly pouring into a wide mouth glass. Refill this bottle at your favorite local brewery.

Light amber colour. Coriander, cinnamon on the nose...light oxidation as well. Rounded spiciness on the palate with light toasty malts, some brown sugar. Hop and spice last throughout what you’d normally consider a clean finish for the style. Not bad stuff.

Murky golden, orange color on the pour. Aroma of citrus and pine. I’m not really digging this brew. It’s not something I will seek out in the future.

On tap @ Brouwers Cafe. Light golden color, with an amazing aroma of spices, yeast, and for once, i think I actually smelled the barnyard I read people talk about from time to time. Maybe "earthy" is a better word. At any rate the flavor was insanely good, with lots of lemon, corriander, and nice yeast flavors going on. This is one of the better saisons I have had in some time.

Bottle as a bonus from Drewbeerme, what a guy! Earthy, spicey aroma with some lemon zest. Light golden brown body with a white head. Medium palate. The taste follows the aroma with a stronger yeast component. Dry finish. I’m coming around on the saisons more and more these days.

Bottle... Lightly hazed golden ale with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Excellent retention. Herbal, peppery aroma with additional notes of pale malts, granny smith apples and unidentified, dark spices. Medium sweet and medium bitter flavor. Pale malts and peppery, earthy hops with a whisper of acidity. Medium-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Crisp, bitter finish that ends up grassy and dry. Thanks to my friend, boboski, for this bottle of beer!

Bottle shared by Odeed; Nose was musty iwth a tiny amount of barnyard. clear light amber with a huge offwhite head; flavor was spicy, peppery, and yeasty with a tiny bit of hop bitterness showing as a last gasp in the finish.
