Commercial Description:
In the past era, hard working rural "Saisonniers" consumed 5 liters per day of this style beer. We re-created it for today's modern worker using Belgian yeasts and sour mashing for a refreshing spiceness and acidity to enliven your palate. Bottle conditioning leaves some sediment, so decant by slowly pouring into a wide mouth glass. Refill this bottle at your favorite local brewery.

(Bottle) Organic beer blind tasting at Brouwers’s in Seattle, March 3, 2007. Lasting white foamy head settles to the side of the glass. Nose of funky yeast, white pepper and herbal tones. Flavour is full: lime, hemp, hoppy with a lasting bitter finish.

Courtesy saveTheAles Pours a straw yellow big fluffy white head with a very very slight haze Nose of clean base malt, grass, some orange and a little spicy Taste: clean spicy some malt sweetness and a slight tartness... with some chalkiness to it Very sprightly on the tongue and very very dry Overall: Like a lithe minerally white wine in the taste and soft and aromatic in the nose like a kolsch... wow! A very intriguing saison with that delicate tartness

Bottle: The aroma consists of orange, orange peel, lemon, and pepper. It pours a hazy golden-orange with a small white head. The flavor is a tad light. It starts with light orange, lemon, and faint orange peel. The finish is lightly spicey with some faint flowery bitterness.

Pours a hazy gold with a very light white head. Very citric and light mellow smell, with a mixture of hops as well. Very spicy refreshing taste. Orange peel, cinnamon, and other citrus are blended well together. Very enjoyable and easy drinking. I love saisons. This brewery is pretty solid.

Bottle. Murky dishwater brown with a huge, billowy white head. Banana, cloves and some spice along with a dry, malty aroma Grassy and astringent. Spicy. Dry with a dusty note to it. I’ve heard great things about this beer, I’ll get another bottle and re-rate.

Bottle acquired in trade with footbalm (thanks!). Poured a light golden color with a light haze to it and an averaged sized white head. Aromas of spices, light yeast, citrus, and ligthly fruity. Tastes of spices, lemons, citrus, and grass. Thinner body. Overall a refreshing and easy to drink beer.

Pours a hazy dark yellow that throws up a big sticky white head. Funky aroma that is tart and acidic. Dry palate right from the start. The flavor is only mildly tart and not too sweet. A light body makes this quite drinkable. The flavor is not as assertive as the aroma hinted at, but this is a decent attempt however.
