Mar 4, 2008 Bottle and served in standard pint glass: Pours a clean deep golden hue with a large foamy head and outstanding lace upon the glass. The aroma has notes of resiny and herbal hop, wet biscuity grains, dusty yeast esters and a hint of pepper. The taste is bitter and resiny supported by mild pale malts. The finish displays some spice and some soapy off-tone. The mouth feel is moderate lively and refreshing enough, dry metallic finish. Not too shabby and an improvement over the normal IPA but I still think Organic hop are missing that something special.

Apr 25, 2007 Slightly hazed and amber/orange with a goodly sized head that laces in chunks. The aroma is heavy with sweet caramel and heavier with pine and grapefruit. Nice and snappy, peppery mouthfeel. The caramel backbone is just strong enough to support the serious hop bitterness. Aug 28, 2008 2006. 100% Colombus hops edition. Pours a fairly dark amber with some mahogany highlights and a fairly thin head. Hop aroma was fresh and earthy but not too assertive. Straightforward hops in the flavor as well along with a lot of maltiness. A bit of toasted grain, with some light sweetness. Nice body that finishes clean. A very pleasant beer.

Feb 23, 2007 Bottle. Amber beer with an off-white head. Grapefruit, pine, resin aroma with some sweet malt backing. Big resiny flavor with grapefruit and pine and just a bit of earthiness to go with the sweet malt backing. Lingering grapefruit and resin. Medium body. Nice bitterness.

May 22, 2007 (22oz bottle) Medium off-white head atop lightly hazed apple juice body. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit, some orange, light pineapple. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, some pine. Quite bitter, with fairly dry finish. Medium body, light resin. Leaves a nice coating on the tongue.

May 6, 2007 22 oz. bottle from Liquid Solutions. Hazy reddish amber color with a huge fluffy off-white head that leaves abundant lace. Toasty malts, hints of citrus scents, but most prominent are the dusty, earthy and herbal hop aromas. Flavor of citrus peel, more earthiness, subdued caramel and toasty malts, a little pine resin, but more herby in character than anything else. Medium body, gentle carbonation. The columbus hops by themselves are interesting and enjoyable, but seem to need something else to make it really work well. Overall I liked it.

Feb 27, 2008 got this in a 22oz size bottle. A really pine and fruit taste. Full flavor refreshing IPA. A nice choice.

May 2, 2007 22oz bottle. Poured a medium and cloudy orange color with a larger sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, pine and caramel. Tastes of the same grapefruit, pine and caramel. Lightly sweet with a nice, medium bitter finish. Body on the thinner side.
