The aroma is sweet grassy hoppy, but also with light notes of dust and alcohol. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of over ripe fruits, medium notes of grapefruit and dust from the hops, and light notes of alcohol. Papsoe (15004), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 27, 2007 (Bottle 65 cl) Slightly hazy, dark amber golden with a yellowish head. Sweetish aroma of caramel and overripe fruit. Quite full-bodied with sweetish caramel malt and overripe fruit and then a somewhat raw and brutal hop bitterness in the finish - they really should work on getting some better quality hops. Not a grand Barley Wine but better than its average indicates. 250407 kp (8396), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

Body starts fairly full with a mild earthy sweetness and a good hoppy bitterness toward a crisp bitter finish. hopscotch (5495), Vero Beach, Florida, USA

Mostly clear, rose-hued, amber ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. Excellent retention. Perfumy aroma with additional notes of caramel malt and fruitcake. The flavor is sweet and sticky. The moderate bitterness isn’t enough to slice cleanly through the rich, candy-malt sweetness, but it does prevent cloying and make the beer palatable. Full-bodied with a syrupy mouthfeel and restrained carbonation. Lengthy, sweet, grassy finish. Thanks to boboski for providing this underrated gem! madsberg (4971), Søborg, Denmark

Alcohol, sweetness, grass and light spice in the aroma. Flavour has light liqourice, is herbal and sweet and has distinct alcohol notes. Medium to full bodied. Is light bitter in the end. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 9, 2006 This pours a clear chestnut body with a slender, lasting white head. The nose is primarily toffee supported by alcohol and a touch of zest of lemon. The latter builds up in the flavor, the toffee is joined by a bit of butterscotch, and the alcohol level remains constant. It finishes on a bitter ctric hop note. Okay.

Poured clear copper color with an average off-white frothy head that motly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus, sweet malt and alcohol aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium balanced bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration.
I would share this with a freind.
