| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 2, 2005 Botle poured a clear light amber with a HUGE white head. Tons of lively bubbles coming up. Lots of chunky lacing. Aroma is sweet apples, pears and cloves. Flavorsa re taht Belgian musty note as well as lotsof swet lightly fruity flavors. A slight spice that is typical with the style but not so much as others. Quite drinkable and I like it a lot. Krausen (102), USA

Body is great, but finish is a little sweet with corriander and apple notes. Very easy to drink. I like it because it does not have a sharp clove phenolic that some tripples do. hopdog (5591), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 7, 2004 Poured a medium, cloudy yellow color with a small white head. Spicy and fruity aromas and tastes. Some apples. Not one of the better Tripels out there. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 30, 2004 Light yellow in color, pisswater swill appearance. Sweet and spicy coriander easily noticed, starchy up front with lots of fruit, some fluffy wheat and lemon grass flavors. Not that exciting really, drops flat after a split second of flavor... lacking a depth of flavor. argo0 (6907), Washington DC, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 16, 2004 Crystal clear apple juice body with minimal off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, some herb, some spice. Taste is moderately sweet, candi sugar, light Belgian spice and white pepper, slight astringency in the finish. Watery light-medium body. Underwhelming. | 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Nov 4, 2004 This was our second Bison beer of the tasting. This was very thin in flavor and charactor. Kind of spicy but it almost seems watered down. aracauna (2391), Georgia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 1, 2004 Pours a clear, true gold body with a fluffy, slightly sticky, white head that builds nicely and easily, but fades a little too quickly. The aroma is lightly spicy and has a touch of sweet straw malt. The flavor is lightly sweet, straw and cake malt, coriander and a bit of yeasty spiciness. The Belgian yeast character could have been a bit more promounced, although the alcohol is surprisingly well covered up. The flavor is also a little too quick to fade. Immensely drinkable though.
