| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 29, 2008 Pours clear gold-orange with a respectable head. Aroma of spices and paper, with some sweet maltiness. Flavor starts out good with some bread, candi sugar, and light fruit, but it quickly turns metallic, with needle-like carbonation. The finish is stale hops, plastic, and metal. It’s funny how an organic beer can taste so man-made. jjuf1853 (482), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 28, 2008 Bottle pours a cloudy golden color with a dense white head. Light floral aroma with hints of fruit, hops, and spices. Mild but flavorful with a dry aftertaste of apple. Not bad...one of the better organic beers I’ve tried. Storm (2685), Amager, Denmark
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 9, 2008 Blind tasting at Papsoe. Little unclear golden colour with a white head. Spicy aroma with notes of coriander and some diacetyl. Also spicy flavour with notes of malt and some warm feeling from the alcohol. mabel (2626), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Floral yeast aroma has a hint of what should be plastic coriander. Clear, medium orange body with medium-lasting creamy white bubbles. Sweet and heavy molasses yeast flavour has grainy dough crust. Medium body is thick. Booze is "conservative" and well-integrated. Goodgrief (1161), Middletown, Delaware, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 23, 2008 May 2007 - Thanks to eaglefan538 for sharing this beer, which he prefaced by stating that it rates "not very good for style." Well, I think we both were pleasantly surprised with this one. Light honey colored pour with smallish head and lacing. Faint light fruity aroma. Simple light fruity flavor, not overly sweet, with good presence of cloves, coriander. Strong spice level, but strangely not offensive. I thought this was nicely done as a Belgian Pale, even if it didn’t taste like a traditional trippel. elelwarren (138), SF Bay area, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Feb 18, 2008 A nice brew, seeming somewhat like an attempt to duplicate Duvel, but w/ a bit more fruitiness than Duvel, and less yeastiness. Huge head on this shimmering golden beer, Orange peel aroma. Flavor quite malty, with obvious spiciness, including the coriander (as advertised) as well as cayenne (from the hops?) at the very end. Quite carbonated, perhaps a bit much, like a champagne. Does not resemble a trippel;, but for the high alcohol content; tastes much more like e Belgian Strong Ale. blankboy (3261), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Pours a clear orange with an average szie diminishing white head. Aroma of fruit and spices, some light herbal hops and yeastiness. Flavour’s slightly sweet, a little malty and with some fruit, spices and an average bitter finish. Alcohol well hidden. Average bodied. A good but safe version of the style. mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
