Poured dark brown, roasted malts, coffee, little dark chocolate, slight dark fruits, slight bit of grain. Little thin for a stout.

Bottle courtesy of BückDich. Dark brown pour that shows red through the light. Nice milk chocolate aroma. Some bits of Sunday morning cologne. Bitter taste upfront of dry malts and bitter coffee. Some strange elements but overall decent. Aftertaste leaves something to be desired.

Bottle from Cavie. Dark brown pour. Dry dark chocolate aroma. Chocolate flavor with a little coffee, but weak and thin. Strange aftertaste.

Again, another nice beer out of Cali brought back by Buddy. Pours pitch black. Aroma is pretty neutral. Nothing special and that’s made it average in my opinion. Taste was dark chocolate, some earth and plenty of smoke. Overall, decent. And wish i would have had a couple more. Thanks pal!

Bottle. Short, frothy, brown head, slowly diminishing. Black body. Nice aroma of roasted grain, cocoa powder, chocolate, grapefruit and coffee. The flavor is lightly sweet, lightly bitter and moderately acidic. It finishes lightly sweet, moderately bitter. Tastes of bitter coffee, roasted malts. Some initial tastes of chocolate, but that is quickly overtaken by bitterness and roast. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Nice.

Bomber into a pint glass. Pours dark with a big dark brown head. The aroma is all coffee with a touch of cream. The flavor is weak church coffee with barely, BARELY a touch of chocolate and a dash of sour. Kinda disappointed with this one.

The chocolate is subtle here, which is fine with me, and there’s some bitterness, though it’s a little thin.
