Mar 18, 2007 Pours a oil slick black with a brown head. Has a lot of malts, hints of chocolate, coffee, and nuts. Finishes very smooth, and leaves the taste in your mouth.

Mar 17, 2007 Poors black with a dirty, kahki head. The aroma is roasty with hints of chocolate and coffee . Its not a very heavy stout, relatively easy to drink. It has a nice, smooooth bite to it. It leaves a bit of a slick feel on the tongue. The finish gives you hints of a dark chocolate but not as present as I would like. Leaves room for improvement but not a bad beer on any means! I love that it is ORGANIC!!

Mar 16, 2007 Pours a black color with a brown head. Huge chocolate aroma with coffee, molasses, roasted malts, and a slight hint of some hops. Plenty of chocolate flavor with roasted malts and coffee at first that give way to the sweeter flavors and a slight bitter finish with citrus hops. Suprised by this brew, pretty decent.

Mar 10, 2007 MMMM. A very nice beer. Pours chocolate black with a thin lacey head. Mouthfeel is very nice and aroma is super sweet. Flavor is rich in chocolate and has a great aftertaste.

Feb 28, 2007 Organic chocolate stout for the ages! This is a truly wonderful presentation from Bison, perhpas their finest beer yet. Big dark brown body points to a bold and desert-like brew beneath a grey-brown head you’d expect from a superior stout. The pallet detects layer upon layer of roasty cocoa and malt joy. Mmmm mmmm!

Feb 27, 2007 Thanks to BuckeyeBoy for this in a trade. Pours a near black with a decent sized brown head. Wonderful aroma of malted chocolate, light coffee and roasted malts. Flavor is malts, creamy chocolate, malts and light bitter hops. I was very impressed.
