Pours a deep black color with a ring of light brown lace on top.Very good aroma and flavor of coffee and coacoa with a mild bitter finish. The palate is light and dry and the carbonation is expansive. Very nice.

Poured black with tall light brown head. It has a chocolate aroma along with slight oxidation and molasses like malt sweetness. The taste starts off with tart roasted malts, tart chocolate malts, tart burnt malts, tart coffee and nothing to really even out the overall tartness. This beer misses the mark for me much like the majority of over priced organic brews I’ve tried.

12 oz bottle. Noticeable aroma of chocolate but not strong. Black in color with a tan head. Good flavor but didn’t like the way some flavors lingered in my mouth. Overall a decent stout.

Poored dark, wih no head to speak of. Nothing to stellar for a "Chocolate" stout...I don’t taste much as far as coco goes. Some strong flavors, but more of a roasted coffee going oninstead of coco. I paid $10.50/6pack....for the money I had hoped this would be better.

12oz bottle. Slight aroma of unsweetened chocolate. maybe cause I’m looking for it. Black in color with a non apparent tan head. taste of licorice and coffee. Lots of roasted flavors. I really like it! not much cocoa but its good.

12 oz bottle via Shigadeyo(thanks!). Pours black with a large tan head. Nose is licorice, chocolate. Taste is anise, chocolate, then some licorice, roasted malts and some subtle citrus hops underneath in the finish. Thin body. Low carbonation. A pretty good chocolate stout.

Pours a black color with an almost orange, brown head. Aroma is of sweet chocolate and a touch of roasted malts. Can definitely taste bitter chocolate, with a sweet roasted malt backbone. Some coffee as well. Decent.

Straight black body with no head and very little carbonation. Aroma of coffee and sweet fruits. Slightly bitter chocolate with huge coffee flavor. Not as bad as I thought it’d be.
