-A ring of foam settles around the browned blackness.
-Roasting coffee beans and dark chocolate ferociously prance for the nostrils.
-Chocolatey sweetness walks side by side with proud malt roastiness.
-The big bubbles aren’t necessarily working with the svelte maltiness, imho.
What if you dig deeper?
-Complexity isn’t the purpose of this stout, pure enjoyment is.
-The grain bill is apparently more responsible for the chocolatey flavor profile than cocoa itself, which is appreciated.
-Dryness from the roasted malts builds with every sip, helped out by supporting hop bitterness.
-A very pleasant stout which must be less effervescent on tap, and thus rounder on the tongue.

Its aroma feels a bit simplistic due to its lack of dimensions, but the focus is there, hitting us directly with coffee beans and rather pure cocoa graininess. The result is a rather dry beer, certainly powdery and direct, but confident in its graininess. Limited hop profile is compensated by bitter roastiness. DYCSoccer17 (2200), Davis, California, USA

Very roasted, rich, slightly sweet chocolate aroma with some coffee hints present. Very pleasant. Dark bown/black color with a large, perseverant tan head and nice lacing. Attractive. Roasted and toasted flavors to start, turning dry and cocoa-like. Some dry hop bitterness comes in late. A bit overcarbonated an somewhat thin in body. CaptainCougar (5520), Rockville, Maryland, USA

Has a nice, sweet milk chocolatey aroma with a touch of roasted malt. Body starts with a pleasant dark caramel malty sweetness and a good balance of chocolate and a touch of dark fruity complexity with some piney hop presence in the finish. An enjoyable balanced beer. The aroma was an amazing chocolate with some hints of roast and hops coming through. The taste was a big bittersweet chocolate that smoothed out quickly too a nice chocolate finish. Not much else in this beer other that the chocolate, would be a great desert beer.
