Bottled. Pours dark brown, with a thick, foamy, brown head, leaving a good deal of lace on the glass. Nose is malt, chocolate, a hint of alcohol and the taste is smoky, chocolaty, and malty. The finish is hoppy, bitter, and dry, with a hint of cocoa in the end. Mouthfell is full, rich, and a bit carbonated. A very tasty offering.

Bomber poured a translucent black with brown highlights and a large lasting brown head. Aromas of milk chocolate, some roastiness, vanilla and a hint of woodiness. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of charcoal, cocoa, a bit roasty and light vanilla with a lingering roasty finish. Not bad but I was expecting more.

Bottle. Poured black color with a large fizzy brown head that was mostly lasting with fair lacing. Moderate chocolate tart citrus aroma. Medium to full body with a creamy dry texture. Medium roasted sweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration.

Pours really really dark brownwith reddish tints and conservative light tan head. The nose is very chocolatey with a bitterness derived not only from chocolate but also roast. Lightly sweet with a bit of floral hops. The mouthfeel is just right for a stout. Creamy and mouthfilling with good viscosity. The flavors are in line with the aroma. Chocolate is prominent, though charcoal and coffee are much stronger. The aftertaste is strong with charcoal, and the only black mark is a slight chemically taste accompanying this. Aftertaste of charcoal really lingers. Not bad, a very satisfying brew, and organic to boot.

Normal dark color with a small tan head. Smells extremely dark chocolatey and slightly roasty, and tastes extremely roasty and slightly chocolatey. Also some caramel. Seems maybe a bit watery, but overall I really enjoyed this and could definitely drink quite a bit of it.

Poured a nearly opaque brown/black, medium receding tan head. Chocolate, roasted coffee, woody aromas. Mediu/full body, smooth going down and a bit chewy.. Roated/bunrt malt flavors, supplemented by the cocoa are dried out nicely before the finish.

Nice earthy cocoa aroma greeted me prior to my first sip. Appearance was opaque black in color with a small tan head. Flavor was dry cocoa with malt overtones. Beautiful lacing was retained and visible all the way to the finish. When I began it was lightly chilled to say 60 degrees. There was zero burn or "kick" detectable via fiz or ABV at any point during this drinking session It finished better than it began once the stout warmed to room temperature. Aftertaste was strictly powdered cocoa. I liked it, but didn’t love it.

Deep chocolate aroma. Dense blacky brown body with a 1/4" tan head. Starts with roasted/smoked malt, followed by a surge of chocolate which is overpowered by the malt. There is a nice smoky bitterness thereafter. Mouthfeel is more porter than stout. Maybe a bit like Alaskan Smoked Porter.
