Deep reddish brown. Small white head that quickly falls. Aroma is woody, some malts and some gingerbread. Tastes of gingerbread, malts and brown sugar. Seems a tad unbalanced, perhaps too sweet.

) This beer offers a strong ginger aroma that has hints of citrus that appear in the background. It is hazelnut in color and produces a moderately thick head. The taste is bitter with ginger and other spices appearing in it.

22 oz. Pours a medium amber. Big aromas of ginger/nutmeg/coriander. Gingerbread flavor was too strong for me, I had force myself to finish the bottle.

Bottle: Deep copper, almost brown, thin light beige head, sudsy, falls quickly, spotty lacing.   Subtle ginger nose, but also some fern and vegetable.   Soft ginger on the tongue, only slightly spicy, with an underlying cereal like flavor.   Not as spicy as I had hoped.   Moderate body, mouthfeel is nearing the thin side.   Very little ginger left at the finish.   Not bad, but not robust enough for my tastes.

A ruby so dark that it looks black from a distance. The head is large bubbled and doesn’t last all that long. The aroma is a lot like fresh wort. The spice is reserved and the malt plays more of a role than the spices. Nicely balanced, but a bit thin.

Bottle... Clear, deep copper ale. Spicy nose of gingerbread and apple juice. Malty, chocolatey, spicy flavor with a hint of dark raisins. Medium-bodied with a lightly creamy mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Chocolatey finish.

GABF 05. Pours a deep brown with an aroma of, you guessed it, gingerbread. Flavor is a nice balance of gingerbread, nutmeg, and coriander. Good beer.
