Rich flavors of ginger, bitting spice, brown sugar, minerals, tropical fruit rind...not real smooth, but interesting. I’ve had it a few times and will try it again because it’s different and experimental and fun enough~! badlizard (2394), Berkeley, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 31, 2007 650 ml bottle. Dark brown with a fizzy white head. Oddly ginger breadish aroma and taste, but not as great as you might expect. shakespeare33 (120), san diego, California, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Dec 30, 2007 12oz bottle.. pours a muddy mohangany and has a very unsettling aroma of stale cigarette butts... unfortunately the tase isnt much better. the gingerbread flavor isnt.... and instead a grossly exaggerated indescribable taste of perfumes and burnt wood hit my palate.. not good.. half a bottle and the rest went down the sink drain.. the other reviews are much better, maybe I got a bad bottle but Im thinking not. alobar (1055), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA

Warming smells-w/ winter spices, light fruitiness. Flavor is dry, gingery with quite a hit of hops bitterness. I was well-surprised by the hops, and enjoyed the combo of flavors. The prickly high carbonation worked well, as the soda pop feel keeps reminding the drinker of the ginger beer style. Lots of throat action... hopdog (5630), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 16, 2007 22oz bottle. Poured a dark brown color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of gingerbread with some chocolate and spices. Tastes of gingerbread, spices, and chocolate. The gingerbread was definitely there. I was a little surprised (pleasantly) by this one. This ain’t bad for an experimental. The only knock is the thin body. dalekliz (546), San Diego, California, USA
