Bottle... Poured deep brown with a thick, khaki head. Aroma of malts, candy sugars, and loads of spices and gingerbread cookie undertones. Not a bad spiced beer. Bready and biscuity. Low, roasted qualities and overall very sweet and lots of grains and oat flavors. The gingerbread spices weren’t dominant, but shined in the finish.

Dec 19, 2009 2009 Bottle - Pours a deep, dark, clear amber with a small off white head that quickly dissipates...aroma is full of malty spice, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger and some anise...flavour is roasted grain and dry spice, coffee and savory gingersnap cookie...very interesting...

Dec 18, 2009 This one has a great aroma to it. Ginger, herbs, cinnamon, and spice. Has a nice dark pour, similar to a darker porter. Has a nice toasty taste that is pretty damn good.

Dec 11, 2009 Gingerbread in the aroma, with some spices and cinnamon. Flavor is more muted version of gingerbread with slight sweet notes of molasses. Nice finish, enjoyed this.

Dec 8, 2009 This just isn’t a really drinkable brew. It is dark in my mind and not like an ale. I didn’t taste much of any gingerbread spices or flavors. Not worth the label to me; just a mediocre beer.

Oct 29, 2009 Colour... dark brown with a thick off white head. Nose...redolent of ginger. Palate... delicate CO2, tangy, lightly spicy except for the lingering ginger.
