Bottle from Bottle Barn, Santa Rosa; Nose of alfalfa, grain, and light caramel malt; clear gold with a big off white head that nicely laces the glass; flavor has mild hop bitterness mixed with sweetness, caramel, and graininess, in a medium body with a little bitterness in the finish balanced with some lingeriing caramel.

Bottle. Hazy golden coloured with a white head. Sweet aroma of malts, caramel, hay and tea. Flavour of malts, caramel, hops and grape fruits. Typical german bock, but more hoppy than the german bocks.

Bottle. Small frothy white head that mostly diminished. Clear flat looking body with an amber color. Aroma was caramel, dusty like grain, hay, nutty and rye bread like as well. Light floral and citrus notes with a hint of fruit and peach. Medium bodied with an average carbonation. Moderated sweet flavor with light notes of bitterness. Light bitter finish.

Bomber from Whole Foods. Medium orange/amber color on the pour. Sweet slightly grainy aroma with a hint of hops. Slightly sweet and grainy. Some bitterness in the finish. Some English hop flavors. Drinkable, but not what I look for in a heller.
